My loving divine Soul,
On this eve of another New Year (2006) I express my deepest love and wishing you a year of real peace, bliss, and love to continue for the rest of your life.
This is the year of the celebration of the birth centenary of our beloved Gurudev Baba Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji Maharaj. Let us spend this year following his immortal teachings and implementing them into our lives. Let us be better disciples than before. Let there be more sincerity in our lives. Our love and sincerity would be our best tribute to Him in this centenary year. Think deeply what will be your contribution!
Time changes, mind changes, body changes, the world changes. The creation of mind and matter is subjected to time and space. Time brings change to the mind and matter in every moment.
We are the immortal children of God. Our life is not ours; it is the life of God. Our life is eternal and not subjected to the limitation of time. Let us be conscious of our eternal identity, our eternal existence in God.
New Year reminds that everything be new and fresh. Let there be new hope, new inspiration in life. In every breath there is a new life. In every moment we are newly born. In every breath we are newly born babies in the lap of God. Let there be the constant beauty, love, and simplicity of a baby in us.
Let us begin a new life, a life of love and compassion, a life of purity and simplicity, a life of dedication and service, a life of prayer and meditation.
Let us make a promise, not to repeat the mistakes done in past. Not repeating a mistake is a virtue. Let the virtues in life replace our vices.
Life is a beautiful gift of God. Let us consciously use His gifts in loving and serving His creation. Let our life become a life of love and service. We can really love when there is no desire to be loved. We can really serve when the desire to be served does not exist within.
Every moment we are to be a better person as in every moment we are one moment closer to God. What we are is the gift of God to us. What we become will be our gift to God.
Let us consciously live in this present moment. Present moment is not related to the time. It is related to eternity. In one moment the future becomes the past. Present moment represents the state of timelessness. Present moment means eternity. When we remain in our consciousness we remain in present. That is the state of freedom. When we are with the mind we go either to the past or to the future which results in bondage in life.
Let us consciously exist in the present moment — that would be our most precious present to God.
