Kriya Yoga Retreats

Occasionally residential retreats are held in New Zealand. This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time with Kriya teachers and go deeply into meditation.

“Gurudev was fond of comparing a spiritual person with the fruit of a tree.

If the fruit was small, it was useless.
When it dropped from the tree, still unripe, it was lost and wasted.

But if the fruit remained attached to the tree, slowly it would grow, ripen,
and its colour, smell and taste would evolve and change.

When it was really ripe, it detached itself gently from the tree.

People turn towards a tree full of ripe fruit.

A Guru is like such a tree, and the disciple is the fruit.

A tree is known by the fruit it bears”
