Once you have been initiated into Kriya Yoga, you are welcome to join KYANZ as a member. KYANZ is a non-profit organization which exists solely on donations, which are used to fund all its activities and visits by Gurus. We are therefore very grateful for anyone who chooses to join.
The Kriya Yoga Association of NZ’s fundamental purposes are:
a) to promote the practice of Kriya Yoga and the teachings from the ancient spiritual scriptures as expounded by the authentic Kriya Yoga Masters Mahavatar Sri Guru Babaji and his lineage of Gurus including – Yogiraj Sri Shayamacharan Lahiri, Swami Sri Yukteswar Giri, Paramahansa Yogananda, Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda, as a method of providing spiritual enlightenment for individuals and consequent upliftment, in all respects, for families, societies and the nation.
b) to educate the people to understand and develop love for the service to the Supreme Lord as revealed in the holy books and scriptures.
c) to promote and educate members and others to live in accordance with the principles and teachings from the ancient spiritual texts as expounded by Mahavatar Sri Guru Babaji and his lineage of Gurus
d) to host visits of Paramahamsa Prajnananandaji or his designated Kriya Yoga teachers to New Zealand.
• Being kept informed of and invited to attend events and meetings
• Receipt of the Sthita Prajna magazine
• Receipt of a copy of the KYANZ constitution with its aims and objectives
• Use of the Library
• Ability to attend and participate in Annual General and Special meetings
• Ability to apply for a position on the Executive Committee after two years continuous membership
The KYANZ Inc is legally registered as an Incorporated Society. A copy of the constitution will be supplied to all members and is also available for inspection to any interested newcomers.
Waged $70.00 per annum
Unwaged : $45.00 per annum
