Paramahamsa Harihararananda
The aim and objective of the Kriya Yoga Association of New Zealand (KYANZ) is to promote the authentic original Kriya Yoga as taught by Paramahamsa Hariharananda, Paramahamsa Prajnanananda or by their authorised Kriya Yoga teachers.
KYANZ also strives to promote integrated physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth through yoga, meditation, study, discussion and prayer throughout New Zealand.
KYANZ is affiliated with the Prajnana Mission of India which was founded by Paramahamsa Prajnanananda on the advice and divine guidance of his Guru Paramahamsa Hariharananda in 1993.
In the lineage of Kriya philosophy Paramahamsa Prajnanananda is the president of these Kriya organizations started by Guru Hariharananda Maharaj, as well as the current head of the great lineage of Kriya Yoga Guru Tradition.
Partha Roop, Vice President, provides overall leadership and vision for KYANZ based on the vision of the Kriya Yoga Institute and Prajnana Mission which is:
a) to spread the message of the Kriya Masters in New Zealand
b) to reach out to all Kriya Yoga initiates and create a larger Kriya Yoga family in New Zealand, involving all Kriya Initiates in Kriya and Spiritual activities and
c) to lead activies and plan visits by Pramahamsa Prajnanananda and other Kriya Masters to New Zealand.

KYANZ is a non-profit organisation which exists by virtue of donations and the annual membership fee. Once you have been initiated into Kriya Yoga you are welcome to become a member of KYANZ although this is in no way obligatory.
If you are not interested in participating in the activities of the Association but are interested in contributing through the Annual Membership fee, this will be gratefully accepted. A donation is another way a member or non member can support the Association. All income is utilised solely for the Association’s objectives as stipulated in the KYANZ Constitution.
Any funds received assist KYANZ in organising Paramahamsa Prajnanananda's annual visit, paying for the hire fee of the hall for weekly meditations, promotional costs and other occasional special events. If you would like to make a donation, please click here to download the form in pdf format.
