Kriya Yoga New Zealand Initiation Program

Auckland and Wellington Oct 2011

The ancient tradition for learning the royal science of Kriya Yoga meditation begins with purification.

Students participate in a holy ceremony to purify the spine and the body.

Each seeker is initiated on an individual basis through the direct contact of a teacher of this lineage.

The teacher directly infuses the triple divine qualities of sound, vibration, and light into the initiate.

Through this process, the seeker learns to perceive the inner light of the soul, hear divine sound, and feel the divine movement sensation all over the body.

Sacred mantras are chanted throughout the ceremony with adequate explanations in English...

Introducing Kriya Yoga

One could describe Kriya Yoga as a powerful mixture of meditation, yoga and pranayama (yogic breathing techniques). It promises the practitioner excellent health, peace of mind and the ability to live a stress-free life. The people of India have practiced it for many centuries under the guidance of trained teachers. It was brought to the attention of the West by the well-known spiritual teacher Paramahamsa Yogananda in his book 'Autobiography of a Yogi'.

Kriya Yoga approaches the study of the Self with a sense of reflection and introspection so that the spiritual traveler may understand the conditions of his / her mind, because the ever-changing mind is the biggest barrier to calmness and self-realization. read more
